If the discharge persists beyond your menstrual cycle, it could be a sign of a health issue. If you notice clumps or a cottage cheese like consistency, this could be a sign of a yeast infection. Look out for other symptoms like redness, swelling, itching, burning, rash or other such uncomfortable feelings. If you\u2019re experiencing this, make sure to go to the gynaecologist for a checkup.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>An abnormal discharge usually occurs due to an infection. The vagina is a self-cleansing organ but a certain level of hygiene must be maintained to keep it safe from infections. Here are a few steps to implement:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul><li>Keep your vagina clean by <a href=\"https:\/\/nuawoman.com\/foaming-intimate-wash-otb.html\">cleansing<\/a> it externally.<\/li><li>Use a toilet seat sanitizer in public toilets.<\/li><li>Wear cotton underwear \u2013 this will absorb any sweat that could cause a buildup of bacteria.
