Take our New & Improved Sanitary Pads for example. Apart from an extremely soft top layer that helps minimize skin irritation, our pads are dermatologically tested, 100% toxin-free, rash-free and fragrance-free, unlike other products in the market.

The choice of the Heavy, Medium and Light Flow pads on different days is specific to each woman’s flow pattern. The suggestion below is only indicative:

Heavy Flow Pads are the largest of our pads and can be compared to XL pads currently available in the market. They are 320 mm in length, come with wider backs and are best suited for days when the flow is at its maximum, typically the first two days of your period. However, if you have extremely heavy flow and require pads larger than XL pads, Nua's sanitary pads might not be suited for your flow.

Medium Flow Pads are mid-sized pads - 280 mm in length, with wider backs and are best suited for days when your flow begins to reduce, typically on Days 2, 3 and 4. They are comparable in length to ‘Large’ size pads currently available in the market.

Light Flow Pads are smaller in size and are comparable in length to ‘Regular’ size pads currently available in the market. They are 240 mm in length and can be used on the last few days of the periods when your flow is at its minimum level.
It is clinically recommended that you change your sanitary pads at least once every 6-8 hours.
Each Nua pad comes in an individual disposal cover with a resealable flap. After use, place the pad into the disposal cover, seal the flap and discard it in a bin.
Your safety and wellness is important to us and we want to ease your mind. These are some of the steps we've taken during COVID-19:

1. Once the sanitary pads reach our warehouse, they are passed through a UV sterilizer. This ensures that any possible germs on the pads are immediately terminated.

2. Our warehouse staff wears white gloves and masks throughout this process.

3. They have been given hand sanitizers and have been encouraged to wash their hands at regular intervals. Everybody entering the premises is being checked for body temperature.

4. A safety session has been held to generate awareness and incentivise self-hygiene by taking basic precautions.

5. The warehouse is regularly cleaned by the housekeeping staff.
Nua sanitary pads expire 2 years from the date of manufacturing.
3 Heavy Flow, 5 Medium Flow and 4 Light Flow pads is the default assortment that we recommend, especially if you are trying Nua for the first time. However, this assortment can be changed to anything you want it to be - there is only one rule: total pads in the pack will have to be 12.

To change the numbers, first reduce the number of pads you want less of (Heavy, Medium or Light flow) by clicking on '-' in the respective sections. Then, increase the number of other pads that you want more by clicking on '+'.

If you are a Nua subscriber, to change the assortment of your ongoing Nua auto-repeat plan, please use the Edit option at My Nua Plan

While we sincerely hope you have a rash-free experience with Nua pads, we request you to please check with a gynaecologist about what would be best for your sensitive skin.
Nua's Heavy Flow pad is the largest of our pads. It is comparable to XL pads currently in the market (320mm long with a wider back). However, since postpartum flow is very heavy, you might need larger pads in the beginning. We request you to check with your gynaecologist to know more about which size would be ideal for you.

A heat patch is similar to a portable and discreet hot water bag! It contains 100% natural ingredients and emits heat upon contact with air. The heat lasts for a long period of time (more than 5 hours).
Just before menstruation, our uterine muscles tighten up in an effort to expel its lining aka period blood, resulting in cramps. Heat is a natural and effective way to reduce this pain.

The soothing heat emitted by a heat patch relaxes the muscles and ensures smooth passage of period blood, which in turn reduces cramps.

However, if you have severe pain that requires medical attention, a heat patch might not be helpful.
The key ingredient of the patch is iron powder. When iron comes in contact with the oxygen in our atmosphere, it oxidises and emits heat. So, all you need to do is take the patch out of its packaging (mint coloured packaging).
Unlike a hot water bag, Cramp Comfort is easy to use, portable and emits long-lasting heat. You don’t need to worry about refilling or plugging it in.

Cramp Comfort heats up on its own upon contact with air. It emits soothing heat for up to 8 hours and the unique design gives you warmth exactly where you need it. Additionally, it’s portable and discreet. You can stick the patch and go about your day; the patch will continue to do its magic.
Cramp Comfort has been designed to fit your life and your needs. The unique design and the optimal temperature give us an edge over other players in the market.

We have designed the product to perfectly fit the natural curves of your lower abdomen and give maximum comfort exactly where you need it. The formulation of the product is also unique and ensures an optimal temperature - strong enough to reduce cramps but not too strong to prevent skin burns.
A herbal patch or roll-on uses essential oils to help reduce cramps. Essential oils have anti-inflammatory properties that reduce pain and inflammation. However, since it's a topical treatment, the relief is temporary and suitable only for mild cramps.

In contrast, a heat patch reduces cramps at its source making it the most effective and longer-lasting method. Cramps occur due to the contraction of uterine muscles in an effort to expel period blood. The soothing heat emitted by the patch relaxes these muscles and ensures smooth passage of period blood, which in turn reduces cramps.
Allopathic medicines prescribed for menstrual cramps have numerous side effects, including hormonal imbalance, and should not be consumed regularly.

A heat patch is a topical treatment that reduces cramps by using heat therapy. It does not alter your hormone levels and is not harmful to your body. Therefore it’s a healthier alternative if you have mild to moderate cramps.

If you have severe cramps, however, we highly recommend visiting a gynaecologist for medical treatment.
Each unit of Cramp Comfort has 3 heat patches. Only one patch should be used in 24 hours and for a maximum of 8 hours.
1.Tear the packet open and take out the patch.
2. Peel to reveal the sticky strip. Stick the patch on the inner side or outer side of your underwear, and not directly on your skin.
3. After 8 hours maximum, peel it off and discard it in the bin.

It depends on where you experience menstrual cramps the most. You can either stick it in front of your lower abdomen or lower back. You can also stick it near your neck or shoulder if you experience pain in these areas. Cramp Comfort has been designed to fit your underwear perfectly to give maximum relief.

Important: The patch should be stuck on your clothes or underwear and not directly on your skin.
You should use only one patch in 24 hours and for a maximum of 8 hours. The comfort and relief you get from our patch will stay for a longer period of time.
It depends on the number of days you experience cramps. We highly recommend using only one patch per day. For instance, if you have cramps only on the first day of your period, one pack of Cramp Comfort, which has 3 patches, will last you 3 whole cycles.
After a few minutes of taking the patch out of the packet, it will start emitting heat. However, it can take up to 20-30 min to reach the ideal temperature.
We’ve designed Cramp Comfort to ensure you get long-lasting heat and maximum relief from menstrual cramps. The patch retains its peak temperature for up to 8 hours and will start decreasing post that. However, do note that you should use only one patch per day and for a maximum of 8 hours.
After months of research, we’ve found that the ideal temperature to ward off period cramps is 45-50 degree celsius. Cramp Comfort reaches this temperature within 20-30 minutes and stays the same for up to 8 hours.
Caution - This product can cause burns. Hence, it is important to check your skin frequently for signs of irritation, redness, blisters and burns during use.
