Sonali Devnani is an independent filmmaker, specializing in portrait photography. Her photography philosophy is to capture people and capture life. After completing her masters in journalism from the University of Hong Kong, Sonali ventured into the world of filmmaking and made her first documentary “Addicted Innocence” that told the story of abandoned and abused children on the streets of New Delhi. Sonali’s portrayal won her the ‘Best Documentary’ award at the Chicago South East Asian Film Festival.
