When Nua launched in 2017, it was a quiet rebellion.
We didn’t just make pads—we rethought them. Because the ones out there weren’t built around women’s needs. They were built for shelves. For mass production. For marketing. And we thought… shouldn’t period care actually care?
Period products came in loud, crinkly plastic wrappers with even louder promises. But they didn’t deliver on those promises. They leaked, chafed, and gave you rashes. And no one was talking about it – they were all too busy “managing.”
But very quickly, we realised something important: the need for safe, effective, irritation-free care doesn’t stop with your pad. It starts there. So, we asked the women in our community what they needed. What they were missing. What they were just “dealing with” because there weren’t better options.
And just like that, Nua grew from one product to many—with every new launch answering a real, unmet need.
From pads to a full wellness journey
Today, we offer more than just pads. We’ve built a range around your cycle, and we’ve done it with you—from the ground up. Our Cramp Comfort patches (India’s first self-heating patch for period pain), Foaming Intimate Wash and 1mm-thin Everyday Panty Liners — these were created with input from over 4 lakh women who told us what wellness actually looks like when it’s done right.
Each product is toxic-free and Made Safe Certified, backed by science, and designed to support your body and life—without adding more to your mental or physical load.
We’ve grown. Our products have evolved. And so has the world.

The new Nua logo reflects that duality. Modern, but warm. Simple, but strong. It doesn’t shout, but it doesn’t shrink either.

When Nua launched before the pandemic, wellness felt optional. Self-care was framed as bubble baths and scented candles.
