Apple Cider Vinegar

Apple cider vinegar exerts anti-glycemic effect when ingested in the body on a daily basis by regulating the insulin levels in the body.

In what way should it be consumed?

Mix two tablespoons of apple cider vinegar with a glass of warm water.

How much and how often should you consume it?

Initially, you can have it every morning and then you can slowly increase the frequency to 2-3 times a day just before every meal.

Coconut Oil

Coconut contains medium chain fatty acids which help to regulate blood sugar levels and insulin secretion. Also, it is one of the most easily available ingredients at home so you don’t have to stress over this one at all.

 In what way should it be consumed?

You can consume it straight up or you can add it to your salads or smoothies.

How much and how often should you consume it?

One tablespoon of virgin coconut oil every day is absolutely safe to consume.

Aloe Vera

The constituents of Aloe Vera are known to reduce blood cholesterol levels which leads to the restoration of ovarian steroid status which has a very positive impact on the ovarian function.

In what way should it be consumed?

Take out the aloe vera juice.

How much and how often should you consume it?

You can drink it every morning just before breakfast.

Cumin (Jeera) Water

Cumin helps to regulate sugar levels which in turn stabilizes insulin in the body. It also acts as an anti-oxidising agent which helps detoxifying various radicals from the body and stabilize the hormonal processes.

In what way should it be consumed?

Take one teaspoon of grounded cumin and mix it with warm water.

How much and how often should you consume it?

You can have this mixture twice a day, every day.

Green Tea

The catechins, the potent antioxidants present in green tea tend to bring down the levels of the hormones which causes ovarian cysts and related symptoms. It is also responsible for bringing the insulin level under control. Nevertheless, it also plays a very crucial role in shedding the excess weight one gains because of PCOS.

In what way should it be consumed?

Mix 1 teaspoon of green tea or 1 green tea bag in a cup of warm water and add 1 teaspoon of honey.

How much and how often should you consume it?

You can have up to 2-3 cups every day.
